Solution: Install a filter sponge on the window of the air compressor station, and often blow ash on the cooler to ensure that the compressed air is cooled well; Ensure that the water removal is normal.

(2) The dewatering device of the screw air compressor - the water separator is faulty. If the air compressor uses a cyclone separator, add a spiral baffle inside the cyclone separator to enhance the separation effect (and also increase the pressure drop). The disadvantage of this separator is that its separation efficiency is higher at its rated capacity, and once it deviates from its separation efficiency, it is relatively poor, resulting in an increase in dew point.

Solution: Regularly check the gas-water separator, blockage and other faults are dealt with in time, if the air humidity is high in the summer found that the gas-water separator is not drained, should be checked immediately.

(3) The amount of compressed air is large, beyond the design range, compressed air in the air compressor station and the user side of the pressure difference is large, resulting in high airflow speed, compressed air and adsorbent contact time is short, and uneven distribution in the dryer, in the middle of the flow concentration, so that the middle part of the adsorbent too fast, saturated adsorbent can not effectively adsorb the water in the compressed air. Compressed air carries a large amount of water through the central concentration, resulting in a "tunnel effect", resulting in a large amount of liquid water at the gas end.

 

In addition, the compressed air in the transportation process to the low pressure end of the expansion adsorption dry dispersion too fast, the pressure is rapidly reduced, while the temperature is reduced, lower than its pressure dew point, water vapor in the susaturated state precipitation, winter will quickly solidified on the inner wall of the pipeline hanging ice, hanging ice more and more thick, and finally the pipeline may be completely blocked.

 

Solution: Increase the flow of compressed air. The excess instrument air can be added to the process wind, the instrument air is connected to the front end of the process air dryer, and the valve is controlled to solve the problem of insufficient supply of compressed air for the process, and at the same time, the problem of "tunnel effect" of compressed air in the adsorption tower of the dryer is also solved.

 

(4) The adsorption material used in the adsorption dryer is activated alumina, which is not tightly filled and will rub and collide with each other under the impact of strong compressed air, resulting in pulverization. Pulverization will make the gap of the adsorbent larger and larger, and a large amount of compressed air from the gap is not effectively treated, eventually leading to the failure of the dryer. This problem is reflected in the field as a large amount of liquid water and pulping in the dust filter.

 

Solution: Fill activated alumina as tightly as possible, check and supplement after a period of time.

 

(5) Compressed air with oil will lead to activated alumina oil poisoning and failure. The super coolant used in the screw air compressor has high thermal conductivity and is used to cool the compressed air, but its separation from the compressed air is not complete, which will make the compressed air sent out of the air compressor with oil, the oil in the compressed air will attach to the surface of the activated alumina porcelain ball, block the activated alumina pores, so that the activated alumina loses the adsorption capacity and oil poisoning, and lose the function of absorbing water.

 

Solution: Replace the oil removal filter on time, and ensure that the air compressor oil and gas separation is complete and the oil removal is good. In addition, the super coolant in the unit shall not exceed the amount.

 

(6) The air humidity changes greatly, and the drainage frequency and drainage time of each timing drainage valve are not adjusted in time, which can make more and more water in each filter, and these water can be brought into the compressed air again.

 

Solution: The drainage frequency and time of the timing drainage valve can be set according to air humidity and experience. The air humidity is large, the drainage frequency should be increased, and the drainage time should be increased, and the adjustment standard is to observe that each drainage can just drain the water without draining the compressed air. In addition, the transmission pipeline with heat preservation, steam tracing; Add drainage valve at the low point, regular inspection, drainage, through this measure can prevent winter frozen pipe, and can remove part of the water in the compressed air, reduce the impact of compressed air with water on the user.
