At present, all commonly used screw compressors have high-temperature protection, and their typical tripping temperature is around 110 to 120 degrees Celsius. However, some compressors use substandard lubricating oil, and when the exhaust temperature is high, varying degrees of oil consumption will occur (based on this, the higher the temperature, the greater the oil consumption). The reason is that at high temperatures, after the primary separation in the oil and gas tank, some oil droplets can have the same order of magnitude as the gas phase molecules, with a molecular diameter of ≤0.01μm. The oil separator is unable to capture and separate them, resulting in excessive oil consumption.
Solution: Identify the cause of the high temperature, solve the problem to lower the temperature, and choose high-quality screw compressor lubricating oil as much as possible.
