(1) When the main pipe is distributed, the pipe shall have a 1° ~ 2° inclination to facilitate the discharge of condensate water in the pipe.
(2) The pressure drop of the pipe distribution shall not exceed 5% of the pressure set by the air compressor, so it is best to choose a larger pipe diameter when distributing pipes.
(3) The branch line must be connected from the top of the main road to avoid condensate water in the pipeline from flowing down to the gas equipment. It is best to have a check valve in the air outlet line of the air compressor.
(4) When several air compressors are installed in series, ball valves or automatic drainage valves must be installed at the end of the main channel to facilitate condensate water discharge.
(5) Do not arbitrarily reduce the main road, if you must reduce or enlarge the pipeline must use the taper pipe, otherwise there will be mixed flow at the joint, leading to large pressure loss, but also affect the service life of the pipeline.
(6) If the air compressor has air storage tank and dryer purification buffer facilities, the ideal pipe distribution should be screw air compressor + air storage tank + before filter + dryer + after filter + fine filter. In this way, the gas storage tank can filter out part of the condensate water, and the gas storage tank also has the function of reducing the gas exhaust temperature. Lower temperature and less water content of the air into the dryer, can reduce the load of the dryer or filter.
(7) If the air consumption of the system is large and the time is very short, and the instantaneous gas consumption changes greatly, it is appropriate to install a gas storage tank as a buffer (its capacity should be greater than or equal to 20% of the maximum instantaneous gas volume), which can reduce the frequent loading or unloading times of the air compressor, reduce the number of action of the control element, and maintain the operation reliability of the air compressor. Under normal circumstances, can choose the capacity of 20% displacement gas storage tank.
(8) For compressed air with system pressure below 1.5MPa, the flow rate in the conveying pipe should be below 15m/sec to avoid excessive pressure drop.
(9) Minimize the use of elbows and various types of valves in the pipeline to reduce pressure loss.
(10) The ideal distribution line is the main line around the entire plant, so that compressed air is available on both sides at any location. If the gas consumption of a branch suddenly increases, the pressure drop can be reduced. And the annular main line is equipped with appropriate valves, so as to repair and cut off the use.
