Tailored for the secondary fine coalescing phase of the oil-gas separation circuit in GA55 / GA75 series screw compressors, the 1623730600 is flange-mounted within the oil separator reservoir.
Key Roles:
Aerosol Capture and Coalescence: The ultra-fine glass fiber media captures oil aerosols from the compressor discharge, merging them into larger drops. Gravity causes these enlarged drops to fall to the element base, where they are routed back into the lubrication circuit through the return pipe.
Emission Control: By capping oil carryover at ≤3 ppm, it minimizes lubricant consumption and reduces the workload on downstream precision filters and dryers.
Downstream Safeguarding: It shields downstream pneumatic terminals, fine filters, and refrigerated dryer heat exchangers from oil contamination, thereby upholding the compressed air quality.
Operating Flow:
Positioned inside the separator tank, the element receives the pre-separated air stream. As the mist-laden air permeates the coalescing glass fiber layers, the oil is aggregated and recovered, while purified air exits via the central port.
