Overview
This oil separator cartridge is developed for the air-oil separation stage of oil-injected screw compressors. Installed between the compression unit and the downstream air network, it captures oil mist and helps maintain clean air delivery. As a directly replaceable filter element, it reduces the risk of oil reaching pneumatic tools, production equipment, and end products.
How It Works
The air-oil mixture discharged from the compressor first undergoes coarse separation inside the receiver tank, where larger droplets settle under gravity. The remaining fine mist enters the filter media, where multiple layers of ultrafine glass fiber intercept and coalesce the droplets into larger ones. The coalesced oil gathers at the bottom of the cartridge and returns to the lubrication circuit through the oil return line, forming a closed loop.
