Did You Notice These Signs Before The Failure Of The Air Compressor?

Compressor faults, often not suddenly appear, but there is a certain omen, sometimes with a variety of visions, sometimes with the numerical value of the instrument instrument.

Therefore, today we take all kinds of compressor failure before all kinds of omen for the discussion object, for the majority of compressor users in advance to predict equipment failure and maintenance to provide reference.

1, abnormal sound, abnormal vibration

Abnormal sound in the process of operation is the "alarm" of equipment failure.

Vibration is violent during operation.

Causes of abnormal sound of compressor may include:

Main engine bearing wear, rotating shaft imbalance, Yin and Yang rotor damage;

Host operating load is too large, pressure holding or pipe network pressure is unbalanced;

Bolts, nuts, gaskets and fixing brackets are loose;

Debris and foreign matter fall into the equipment;

It is also possible that with the operation time of the compressor unit approaching the overhaul period.

At this point, the axial and radial momentum of the screw is gradually approaching the maximum design allowable value, which will lead to a great change in the clearance between the screw and the screw, the screw and the host housing and the front and rear end face, thus causing friction, vibration and various noises.

Two, run and drip

Leakage of lubricating oil and other equipment;

Compressed air leakage phenomenon, sometimes can obviously hear the sound of leakage;

Leakage of circulating cooling water.

The main reason for running and leaking is the aging or inadequate maintenance of equipment and accessories, especially the bad behavior or careless operation of employees.

And these seemingly small problems can lead to very serious consequences, although these consequences are hidden behind all kinds of appearances.

Take compressed air as an example, leakage will not only directly waste expensive power energy, resulting in the burden of electricity, but also may lead to system pressure drop, reduce the functional efficiency of pneumatic equipment and shorten the service life of equipment.

At the same time, additional maintenance requirements and possible additional unplanned downtime can result because air leaks can cause equipment to circulate more frequently, thus increasing the operating time of air compressors.

Simply put, compressed air leakage increases unnecessary compressor capacity.

Leaks, coupled with a common problem of higher-than-required system pressures, can lead to what is known as "false demand," keeping the compressor loaded without resting.

All of this adversely affects productivity and shortens the life of almost all system equipment and pneumatic tools.

The double whammy of excess energy use and reduced equipment life for factory owners must be taken seriously.

Three, special smell

When the motor overheats and the lubricating oil burns through the cylinder, it will send out a special smell.

There will be coke when insulating materials such as circuit short circuit and overlay wire are burned
