Mechanical seal components and their related assembly contact surfaces must be cleaned with acetone or anhydrous alcohol before installation. The static and dynamic rings are coated with a layer of clean oil or turbine oil.
Clamping cap should be done after coupling alignment. Bolts should be tightened evenly to prevent deviation of gland section. Check each point with feeler gauge or special tool, and the error is not more than 0.05mm.
Check the fit clearance (and concentricity) between gland and shaft or outer diameter of bushing, ensure that it is uniform around, and check the tolerance of each point with feeler rule not more than 0.10mm.
Spring compression should be carried out in accordance with the provisions, not allowed to have too large or too small phenomenon, the error is required to be 2.00mm, too large to increase the specific pressure of the section, accelerate the section wear. Too small will cause insufficient specific pressure and can not play a sealing role, after the spring loaded in the spring seat to move flexibly. When using a single spring, pay attention to the rotation of the spring, the rotation of the spring should be opposite to the rotation direction of the shaft.
The moving ring must keep flexible movement after installation, and the moving ring should automatically spring back after pressing to the spring.
The anti-swivel grooves on the back are aligned with the anti-swivel grooves, but do not contact each other. Protection period, recstraightness of xinnan center line, and it is not allowed to use tools to knock the sealing element directly in the process of development. When necessary, special tools must be used to knock the sealing element to prevent damage. All sealing rings should be coated with soapy water and other lubricants during assembly, so as to damage the ring during assembly. Grease is applied between the sealing surfaces of static ring to prevent the sealing surfaces of static ring from being worn before use.
When assembling the floating ring, be careful not to knock down the floating ring spring, so as not to affect the floating performance of the floating ring after the spring knocks down. After the floating ring is assembled, you can gently press the floating ring to determine if it has good floating performance.
When installing the seal, it should be handled gently to prevent damage to the seal, and the seal and cavity should be cleaned during installation. Tighten the bolts evenly to prevent damage to the mechanical seal. For the quick loading mechanical seal in the overall assembly, do not forget to fix the position of the radial moving path of the positioning piece away from the shaft.
