In general, the air compressor oil in operation should be sampled regularly, observe the color and cleanliness of the oil, and regularly analyze the physical and chemical properties of the oil, such as viscosity, acid value and n-e burning insoluble matter.
That is, if one of the following situations occurs, oil change should be considered:
(1) Water content is greater than 0.1%.
(2) Acid value greater than 2mg KOH/g.
(3) The movement viscosity changes more than 10% of the allowable value.
(4) The color changes to brown and black.
Each air compressor manufacturer has strict regulations on the replacement cycle of lubricating oil, but the replacement cycle is not the same, and the replacement conditions are slightly different.
Where conditions permit, users can use regular sampling checks against the above conditions to determine whether to change the lubricating oil.
