What are the functions of the oil filter?

Oil filters can be quite strange to many of us! However, such parts have a very important role in the car! Most of our current cars are powered by gasoline! However, after a period of use, the gasoline will become dirty. This is because if there is an oil filter, it will filter out a lot of impurities, and the used gasoline will be more pure and prolonged. The life of the car!

At the same time, during the working process of the engine, the introduction of metal grinding debris, the entry of impurities in the air, and the generation of oil oxides make the impurities in the oil gradually increase.

In order to reduce the frictional resistance between the relatively moving parts in the engine and reduce the wear of the parts, the oil is continuously delivered to the friction surfaces of the moving parts to form a lubricating oil film for lubrication. The oil itself contains a certain amount of gum, impurities, moisture and additives.

The oil does not pass through the oil filter and directly enters the lubricating oil circuit. It will bring the impurities contained in the oil into the friction surface of the moving pair, accelerate the wear of the parts and reduce the service life of the engine.
