The oil sub tank of screw compressor has two functions: oil and gas separation and oil storage.
The compressed oil and gas mixture is discharged to the oil tank, and most of the lubricating oil can be separated by rotation in the oil tank;
Store more lubricating oil to avoid the hot oil immediately separated from the next cycle, which is conducive to reducing the exhaust temperature.
Oil tank oil tank has horizontal and vertical two kinds of more commonly used, with oil core, return tubing, safety valve, minimum pressure valve, pressure gauge installed in the tank body, the barrel has a refueling hole for refueling.
The air filtered by oil core, through z* small pressure maintenance valve, flows to the rear cooler for cooling, and then discharged from the air compressor.
Minimum pressure maintenance valve is also a one-way valve, can be called the oil tank above the exhaust valve.
Located at the outlet of the oil and gas separator above the oil and gas barrel, the opening pressure is set at about 0.45mpa. The minimum pressure valve mainly has the following functions:
(1) Check function: when the pressure in the oil and gas barrel drops after shutdown, it prevents the compressed air in the pipeline from returning;
(2) When starting, the cycle pressure required by lubricating oil should be established first to ensure the lubrication of the machine;
(3) It can be opened only after the air pressure in the oil and gas barrel exceeds 0.40mpa, which can reduce the air flow rate through the oil and gas separator, ensure the effect of the oil and gas separator, and protect the oil and gas separator from damage due to too large pressure difference.
There is a safety valve above the end cover of the oil tank. When the air pressure in the oil tank reaches 1.1 times of the set value, the safety valve opens automatically, letting off part of the air and reducing the air pressure in the oil tank.
The method to check the safety valve is to gently pull the deflated pull ring on the safety valve when the compressor is fully loaded. If the safety valve can exhaust outward, it is regarded as normal.
A pressure gauge is installed on the oil distributor to measure the pre-filter pressure.
The bottom of the tank is equipped with a blowdown valve, which should be opened regularly to let off the water and dirt settling in the bottom of the tank.
There is a transparent oil level mirror next to the tank to show the level of oil in the tank.
The normal oil level is between the upper and lower scales (static oil level when the air compressor stops for half an hour), too high will run away, too low will stop at high temperature.
