The oil and gas barrel of screw air compressor is simply a device for separating compressed air oil. It is generally a cylindrical can made of carbon steel.
The main components are: oil core, return tubing, safety valve, z small pressure valve, pressure gauge, sewage valve and so on. In the air compressor system, oil and gas barrel has two main functions: oil and gas separation and oil storage. The mixture of high temperature and high pressure oil and gas compressed from the screw air compressor enters the oil and gas barrel, and most of the lubricating oil is separated from the oil and gas barrel by collision and turning. The oil and gas barrel is equipped with oil level gauge and refueling hole. Under normal circumstances, the oil level of lubricating oil should be between the upper and lower limits of the oil level meter.
The oil and gas drum is equipped with a drainage valve. Before each operation, the valve should be slightly opened for the discharge of condensate water. When discharging condensate water, it should be observed that once there is oil flow out, it should be closed quickly. Due to the large flow channel of oil and gas barrel, the internal flow velocity is relatively low, which is conducive to the separation of oil droplets, and plays a role of crude separation of oil and air. Most lubricating oil is separated before entering the oil - gas separation filter element. For use in the unit in the area of large air humidity must prevent oil deterioration, and bearing rust.
The internal pressure of the oil and gas barrel is generally about 0.45mpa. The z small pressure valve will automatically open part of the gas to balance the internal pressure and reduce the flow rate of the air through the oil and gas separator, so as to ensure the good separation effect and prevent the damage of the oil and gas separator due to excessive pressure.
Generally, with the same displacement of screw air compressor, the greater the internal pressure of oil drum, the worse the separation effect. Therefore, we should pay attention to the oil and gas barrel pressure in daily work.
