E9‑48II Precision Filter Element – Condensation Separation with Dual‑Stage Filtration
This filter element operates on the condensation separation principle and features a two‑stage filtration design:
Stage 1 – Mechanical Separation (10 µm)
Incoming compressed air first passes through two stainless steel perforated tubes. At this stage, inertial impaction and gravity settling remove liquid water and solid particles larger than 10 µm, significantly reducing the load on the downstream fine filtration layer.
Stage 2 – Deep Fibrous Filtration (3 µm)
The pre‑separated air then enters a deep fibrous media layer, which employs advanced matrix‑mixed fiber technology to maximize contact area. Through a combination of direct interception, inertial impaction, and diffusion, solid and liquid contaminants above 3 µm are captured within the fiber matrix.
Anti‑re‑entrainment Design
A chemically resistant closed‑cell foam sleeve prevents coalesced liquid from being carried back into the downstream airflow, ensuring reliable separation performance under oily and acidic conditions.
