Operating on the condensation principle, the oil‑gas separator uses a multi‑layer glass fiber medium. As the oil‑air aerosol flows through the element, fine oil particles are trapped and merge into larger drops. Gravity then carries these drops to the sump, from where they are returned to the compressor lubricant system. The purified air is discharged through the centre port.
Precautions
- The oil-gas separator is a disposable consumable and must not be cleaned and reused.
- It is recommended to replace the oil-gas separator, air filter, and oil filter simultaneously during each major service (replace all three filters at the same time).
- Important Safety Note: For top-cap type oil-gas separators, ensure the grounding wire is properly connected to prevent static electricity buildup from causing sparks.
- Before installation, please confirm that the model (22705-7) matches the original equipment requirements and verify the sealing ring size and installation dimensions.
- Using beyond its service life will lead to increased oil content in the exhaust, rapid saturation of the downstream precision filter, increased oil consumption, and higher operating costs.
