Oil separators for rotary screw and vane air compressors provide final filtration, with a micron scale of 0.3. All particles (greater than 0.3 microns) passing through the air and lubricating oil filters will be trapped by the separator. The separator is composed of deeply loaded media and has good dirt retention capabilities.
The basic use of this product is to separate oil from the air through coalescence. The oil is physically trapped by the separator while allowing air to pass through. The oil is then discharged down to the oil pan, discharged through the pickup and return pipes, and then returned to the oil pan for continuous circulation and recompression.
Depending on usage and environmental conditions, the life of the separator can vary greatly, from thousands of hours to extremely short cycles. (such as. dust, humidity, smoke, pollution, etc.)
