Oil‑Gas Separator – Critical Component for Compressed Air Quality
Installed in the compressor oil‑gas separation system, this separator is a key element in ensuring the purity of discharged compressed air.
Working Principle:
The oil‑gas mixture enters the separator and undergoes high‑speed centrifugal separation. The airflow then changes direction, decelerates, and makes a 180‑degree turn, allowing even the finest oil droplets as small as 0.1 μm to be effectively separated.
The separator utilizes advanced corrosion‑resistant ultra‑fine fiber coalescing material as its primary filtration medium. The filter bed consists of a multi‑layer composite structure, including a pre‑filter layer, ultra‑fine fiber layer, support layer, filter layer, and gravity settling layer. This design ensures that solid particles larger than 3 μm are completely removed from the compressed air output. Meanwhile, extremely fine oil‑water aerosols (approximately 0.01–1 μm) are coalesced into larger droplets as they pass through the filter element. These droplets collect at the bottom of the element and are returned to the lubrication system via a siphon return tube located at the bottom recess.
