This oil separator is built to directly replace part number 71131211-46910 in screw compressor systems. It extracts oil mist from the compressed air stream, delivering cleaner discharge and lowering lubricant loss into piping and downstream gear.
The separation media consists of fine borosilicate fibers bonded between perforated steel liners. This construction ensures residual oil content stays below 5 ppm while preserving adequate flow rates. A solid fit for automotive paint lines, pharmaceutical packaging, or any operation that cannot tolerate oil in the air.
Monitor the pressure drop across the separator. When it rises by 0.8 bar, schedule a replacement. Doing so minimizes oil top-ups, keeps aftercoolers and dryers efficient, and avoids oily contamination in sensitive pneumatic controls.
