Working Principle Of Oil Separator

The simple working principle of the oil separator: after the high-pressure air (gaseous working medium and lubricating oil) from the compressor enters the oil separator, it enters the guide vane of the oil separator and flows in a spiral shape along the guide vane. By centrifugal force and gravity, the lubricating oil is separated from the working gas and flows down the inner wall of the cylinder.The working gas leads to the oil separator from the central pipe through the porous baffle.The separated lubricating oil, concentrated in the lower part of the oil separator, can be discharged regularly, or by using a float valve, so that the lubricating oil automatically returns to the crankcase of the compressor.The velocity in the centrifugal cyclotron channel is recommended as 10-25m/s for ammonia and 20-20m/s for Freon.
