Why Is This Filter Needed?
When an air compressor runs, lubricating oil gets picked up by the high-speed airflow, forming an oil mist mixed with the compressed air. If this oil mist is not treated, it travels downstream with the air into pipes and equipment, causing contamination and problems. The job of the 91111-003 oil separator element is to stop this oil mist before the air leaves the compressor-letting the oil flow back to the tank for reuse, and letting clean air move to the next stage.
How Is This Filter Made?
Filter Layer: Made from glass fiber material with tightly arranged fibers designed to catch fine oil mist particles in the airflow.
Shape Design: The filter media is pleated to increase contact area, giving oil mist more chances to be captured.
Frame Part: Inner and outer metal mesh tubes receive rust treatment to support the filter layer against pressure.
End Treatment: Both ends are sealed with metal caps and fitted with gaskets to prevent air from escaping around the sides.
What Happens When Installed?

During operation, it continuously pulls oil out of the air.
Over time, as more oil is captured, resistance increases gradually.
