High-efficiency separation: This is the most fundamental task of an oil separator. It precisely separates the lubricating oil injected into the air compressor and compressed along with the air.
Classification: This process involves two steps. First, in the oil-gas separator, centrifugal force and gravity separate approximately 99% of the large oil droplets. Then, the remaining oil-gas mixture enters a high-precision filter element, where a special condensation mechanism captures and aggregates the tiny oil droplets.
Air purification: The direct purpose of separation is to produce high-purity compressed air.
Quantitative standard: High-quality oil separators ensure that the residual oil content in the final output compressed air is below 3 ppm.
Important significance: This directly ensures the stability and safety of downstream applications such as pneumatic tools, spraying equipment, instruments, and even food and pharmaceutical industries.
Oil recovery: The separated lubricating oil is recycled.
Recovery path: The filtered lubricating oil settles at the bottom of the filter element and is returned to the compressor unit through a dedicated oil return system (including return pipes and check valves) to participate in the next working cycle.
