Product Details
Working Principle
The air-oil separator element is a key component in the compressed air purification system of screw compressors. Oil-laden compressed air enters from the outside. Large oil droplets are first removed by gravity and mechanical separation. Fine oil aerosols are intercepted and coalesced into larger droplets as they pass through the multi-layer fiberglass media. The coalesced oil collects at the bottom of the element and is drawn back to the compressor lubrication system through the return oil pipe at the base. The result is clean compressed air with extremely low oil carryover.
