This capacity regulating valve employs an inverse proportional control principle (also known as an inverse proportional valve or inverse proportional capacity regulating valve). It incorporates a precision spring and sealing components. When the system pressure gradually rises but has not yet reached the high-pressure setpoint of the pressure switch, the set pressure of the capacity regulating valve is reached first, at which point the valve begins to operate. When the supply air pressure rises to the set value, the valve core, driven by the air source pressure, gradually pushes the diaphragm assembly, causing the inlet valve to gradually close, limiting the intake air volume, thereby reducing the exhaust volume and inhibiting further pressure increases. When the system pressure drops, the valve core return spring pushes the valve core to move in the opposite direction, restoring the intake valve opening and allowing the exhaust volume to recover.
