This compact, short-height cylindrical pleated air filter cartridge is designed to mount directly onto the intake valve suction port of small-to-medium power oil-injected rotary screw compressor packages, occupying the position closest to the airend of any intake system component, where ambient air enters the machine before any other filtration or regulation stage. Because the cartridge sits immediately upstream of the intake valve, the restriction it generates carries directly into the compressor breathing process, making low airflow resistance through the media a defining design requirement rather than an abstract specification.
